Days Strong

Privacy policy

Nothing
leaves the
device

This is the whole policy. It is short because there is nothing to describe.

01 — The policy

In full

One. Days Strong collects no personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no user profile and no identifier of any kind.

Two. Everything you enter — your habits, dates, notes, reasons, costs and goals — is written to a local IndexedDB database inside the app on your own device. It is never transmitted anywhere, because the app has no server to transmit it to.

Three. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no tracking of any kind, and no third-party SDK. This website has no cookies, no analytics and no embedded content; even its typefaces are served from this site rather than from a font provider, so visiting these three pages tells nobody anything.

Four. If you export a backup file, that file is yours alone. It goes wherever you choose to put it — and if you put it in a cloud drive, that provider’s policy applies to it, not ours. If you delete the app, your data is deleted with it, because your device is the only place it ever existed. We cannot recover it for you and we cannot see it in the first place.

Five. The only party who knows you bought the app is the store that sold it to you — Apple — under their own privacy policy. We receive sales figures from them, never your identity. If you email support, we hold that email conversation, and nothing more.

02 — Small print

Rights, changes, contact

Rights of access, correction, export and erasure under the UK GDPR all apply to data a company holds about you. We hold none, so those rights are already satisfied by the design: your data is in your hands, exportable by you at any moment, and erased by you when you delete the app.

The app is not directed at children, and it collects nothing from anyone regardless of age.

If this policy ever changes, the new version will replace this page and the date below will change with it. Since the policy describes an app that collects nothing, the only change we expect to make is a clearer way of saying so.
