Your nights, with
no streak to break
Sleep is not a habit and this app does not pretend it is. It has no streak, no badge and no day it can call a failure — because a bad night is not a thing you did wrong.
What it keeps
- A month of nights at a glance, each one drawn to its own length, so a run of short nights is a shape rather than a number you have to work out.
- What you actually averaged — and how many nights that average is from, which is the figure most sleep apps quietly leave off.
- Your longest and shortest, and how many nights ran under six hours.
Nights arrive from Apple Health if you let them, or you put them in yourself. Reading Health is free and always will be — it is never behind the paid unlock.
The wind-down
Worked backwards, not forwards. You say when you want to be awake and how long you want to sleep, and it tells you when to stop — then reminds you, at most twice in an evening, on the evenings you chose. It knows that twenty to one on a Saturday morning is still Friday evening, which sounds obvious and is where most reminders get it wrong.
What it will not do
- It will not give you a sleep score. A number out of a hundred, from a phone on a bedside table, is a guess wearing a lab coat.
- It will not tell you a bad night was your fault. It says nothing your own nights do not support.
- It cannot break anything. Sleep sits in its own place in the app. No streak, badge or day mark anywhere else can be touched by it.
Days Strong holds your nights beside everything else you are keeping. No account, no server, and it all stays on your phone.
